Benedict's Café

Benedict's Cafe is surely one of the best kept secrets of the Wellington Region! Everyone knows about Petone Cafes, but the joys of Benedict's is largely confined to the locals and their friends who are 'in the know'. Having said that, it seems that people from 'down the hill' are starting to find out about us and travelling up for morning tea or to try the famous Dowse Breakfasts!

We serve excellent coffee, hot chocolate and milk shakes together with freshly baked cakes, delicious slices, paninis and gourmet sandwiches.

We serve a Brunch menu until 3pm, and we are now serving evening meals prepared in our newly refurbished kitchen. You can take a look at our Brunch Menu and our Lunch & Dinner Menu (these may be subject to change, please check the menu when you visit).

We also serve real ice cream in cones and a wide variety of soft drinks.
