Functions and Activities

One of the reasons the proprietors, Mike & Ruth, have worked so hard in the last few years to make Benedict's the place it is today, is as a service to the community. To that end, Benedict's is often open on a Friday or Saturday evening with a community event. There is a wide concensus that these are fun, social evenings which help to bring the Maungaraki Community even closer together.

Recent examples of this are the 500 Cards evenings, the Mothers' Day Pamper Evening, and popular local singer Amanda O'Connor performing.
